Rudy’s contract won’t be relevant until next year. There isn’t any connection, unless they feel money spent this year (tax) costs too much in totality when aggregating it with subsequent tax years.

Gerald Green would be a great pick-up for wing depth. Not sure about his hops anymore give age and injuries but he is a good 3-point shooter.

If you’re referring to the jazz signing Yogi to whatever kind of deal he signed then a day later cutting him, then yes color me confused.

Not sure what "theory" you're referring to. Yogi had (per Tony Jones) signed an Exhibit 10 contract. So it was never the intention that he'd be with the Jazz, but rather only with the Stars. Whether he ends up with the Stars or gets a better offer elsewhere in the meantime remains to be seen.
