Personally I hope that they go after bigs that supplement Favors and Kanter as the main bigs instead of taking the spotlight from them and go after a legit point guard or SF/SG.
I keep saying this:
JJ Hickson

I do think the Jazz make the move for Bledsoe, whether it is draft day, or after CP3 signs a contract. The question is who would we take back with Bledsoe? DeAndre Jordan might even be a bigger mistake than getting Pau, especially if Bledsoe walks after next season. So what will the cost be of getting Bledsoe?
Another move that could make sense is to sign and trade with the Bobcats for one of Millsap or Jefferson, and getting a draft pick or one of their young guys that could turn into a role player to back up one of our young guys eventually.
I think Marvin will be traded, but for who and what? This might be one where we take back a contract that has another year on it, to get a good asset. I heard from a few people that they thought Marvin would be traded at the deadline, so I think the Jazz will try to move him this offseason.

Lots of people here are talking about Landry. That's not a bad idea.

Al's a terrible fit next to Lin/Harden/Parsons/Asik. Just terrible.
There will be a big signed one way or the other. Question you have to ask yourself is which Big would you want out of Gasol, Sap, Big Al, Kaman and Brand? 1 Big will not steal all of the minutes. I fully expect to see Favors start and kanter be the primary back up next year. Favors will get 33 ish minutes and Kanter will get 25.
First those two picks better be top 20 protected, and second if we are giving two picks, I sure as hell am not Dow with just giving up Burks with those picks for the Clips backup. So pick either or, but not both. Either we give Burks streght up or the two picks.
The insane package you want to give up is pretty close to the package we got for Deron. I'm not saying its as good, but Bledsoe is no where near Deron's level. Don't get me wrong I love Bledsoe's game, but if the jazz want him they just need to be patient and the price will come down, similar to the trade the Bucs just made for Darrelle Revis. The jets wanted two firsts, and ended up only getting a first this year and a probable third next.
I predict we don't spend over $5 million on a free agent, including our own. Greg is going to be a cheap ******* this offseason.
I wouldn't mind him being cheap this year. Paul isn't going to sign with Utah and I'm not big on this freeagentcy class, would rather wait and be big spenders with a deeper freeagentcy class. And with the jazz only having 5 guys under contract I promise they spend more then 5million.
By the way, there's a minimum salary floor, now, so the Jazz, or any other franchise, can't be "cheap."
