Why do I like Marcus smart so much?

If you watched any college basketball you will notice something about Marcus Smart....The kid is STEAL MACHINE. He creates all kinds of havoc on defense he totally confused and bedazzled the living **** out of Andrew Wiggins everytime they played.

it's dwade all over again....people said wade could go anywhere from 5 to 9 and he was selected by the Heat and turned into an absolute monster. Marcus Smart is a dawg....he'll beat your *** in the crowd.

Am I the only one not excited about getting a "great" PG whether it's Smart or Exum? CP3 is the best in te league according to most and he can't get anywhere with one of the best coaches I the league and a guy who finished top 3 in MVP voting as a running mate.

I want the best wing player we can get or an awesome big. Get Jabari or A Gordon. PG is just so unappealing to me.

I guess Exum is fine cus he can play both spots cus of his size but Smart? Puke.

exum can't play squat. The kid is never going to light this league up....you take smart. AND THEN tell me how right I was.
 
Wow the lottery sure have kickstarted a thrilling circus of Smart bandwagon threads. I like the fact that the fans in Utah are experiencing a mentality change and prefer badass mother****ers in their team.

I think Stockton was tougher than Malone in his own way.
 
Marcus Smart is the most egregious flopper i can remember seeing in college basketball, and he projects to be one of the worst guards in the league shooting from 3.. his PG skills are nothing special, doesnt have particularly great handle or shot selection, but hes got plenty of room to improve and should get by on strength and tenacity. In no way would i consider him a steal at 5, but its not a bad pick i have him probably around 8.. watching him battle Westbrook would be fun though.

Also, im pretty sure i read somewhere that teams at the combine weren't too happy with Smarts explanation of the push.

And let me add, anyone can kick another in the nuts. I mean attitude and character by badass. Not afraid of mental battles. Malone was one. Stockton was another. Ostertag was anotherother. Etc.


Now I give it to Favors. And Enes can follow I think he stopped being cute. Trey is definitely one cool dude. Alec is Colorado Bulldog, he'll just go with the flow, but a rather "hey dudes ease down" guy. Add Smart and he will lit those fires within the young dudes of ours that is waiting to get lit. Not that I like fighting. It is a lose/lose thing. But the attitude can stay there. I see a tendency towards it.
