We’re not side tracking this thread, but yeah, conservatives want to ignore racial issues and pretend they aren’t an issue while pandering to the worst racist wings of their party. Tell me, does the same reasoning apply to why this fan base lauded Byron Russell and were negative about Greg Ostertag?

Ingles was signed after being cut from another team. Very low initial expectations. Conley has much obviously been better, but we traded a great deal for him, and last season you could make an argument he underperformed for that cost (not this season).

I'm not saying you are completely off-base, in that this board, like every other place I've been on the internet, has issues. The people who say untoward things are known, and the people who push back are known.

I have lived in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Denver, Boston, Alberta Canada, and Utah. There are racists in Utah and there are racists that are conservative. There are also racists in every place I have lived and liberal racists. The narrative about Utah is popular, easy to pile on, and becoming less true all of the time - though it still does exist. Treating "Utahns" as a collective group is an interesting irony in this discussion.

As for Trump, he is an immature narcissistic bully but he treats everyone outside of his tiny circle that way without regard to race.

Just because someone is an ******* to everyone, doesn’t mean they aren’t an ******* in racially charged ways to people when they get a chance. The guys who said those terrible thing to the Morants might be assholes in general. They were racist assholes in this instance, at least the one.
