Dude, have you been living under a rock? His injury history and poor work ethic aren't even debatable at this point. He is still young and has a chance to get his **** together but to blame it on the pelicans is a bunch of bull.I think that is speculation at best on your part. I think it is pretty well documented that NOP started micro mang with his body from day one, trying to force him into changing. I think the path to playing more is getting the f out of there., My speculation is he blames them for his current issues, but since they paid him, they get to continue to pay him sit until they trade him. Maybe thats bs on his part and you don't like it, but the man is a franchise level talent, and if his inability to stay on the court is overblown because of politics in NOP someone is getting what they thought they got.
The only reason he’s on the market is he’s played 114 games in 4 years. That’s bonkers!! For that reason alone I’m out otherwise hell yaPotentially on the move this summer, would you go after him?
No. Too many injury issues to justify the cost in assets and salary cap. He just can’t stay healthy. I’ve heard nothing but good things about him as a person - despite the TMZ stuff - and I think he’d be a fan favorite. . . but he just doesn’t fit what the jazz need to be focusing on right now.Potentially on the move this summer, would you go after him?
I remember when I said that about Shaq in his first season...Nope. He's a talented baller but Zion is built in a way that his knees are not going to hold up if he keeps playing above the rim basketball.
Man he really has that "this poop is hurting me face" down pat.
Ishbia came in swinging for any damn star he can trade for, Ryan came in swinging with the ugliest collection of jerseys known to man lol.Nobody looks good in that jersey. Just saying.
Zion is a monster when he's' healthy. For his career he averages 26 ppg on 60%Unpopular opinion but....
When he's playing at even semi normal health, he's really, really, really good. Like dominant good. He should have absolutely been player of the month in like November last season.
... Then of course he got hurt again and just sort of went away. I realize there's like 14 red flags with this guy, but I feel like Ainge has loaded the Jazz with assets ideal for a "swing for the fences" type player. And the idea of him in a Jazz uniform getting his sh** together is the stuff history is made of.
But... yeah. I get it. Probably a bad idea
