Apparently he only signed a one year deal with Utah....??? Resign NOW KOC. Where would we honestly be wihtout Earl Watson?
 
He's a good play maker and works for a veteran presence, but he sucks at scoring and he sucks a defense. We can find better.

He "sucks" at defense? what sucks is your observation.

Watson is the best PG we have had as backup in a long time.

Good luck trying to find a bettter PG

As your backup PG on the roster, almost getting a triple double and comfortably being the best player on the floor? Have you seen the kind of **** we've been churning out at the backup PG? You are on some serious drugs.

Repped. I didn't know it was a one year deal. The best Jazz teams have always had a reliable backup pg. Earl rocks!

Watson is easily the best backup this team has had since Eisley 1 (including Maynor).

I don't think an extension can be done on a 1-year deal and the Jazz would have equal competition from every team since they have no agency rights and he has no Bird Rights. Hopefully this isn't his only season here but I'm bracing for that.
 
We lost.

Seriously incredible game from Watson. Loved it. Wrap that guy up for the next 4 years.



But we still lost.
 
I will also add that the way Watson pushes the ball and looks for lobs/oops legitimately makes those two aspects of Deron's game look WEAK. Not just pale in comparison, but it highlights how little he does either. It's almost like Deron likes to make things more difficult than they have to be sometimes.
 
There is absolutely no excuse as to why Deron should'ne be pushing the ball more. None at all.
It boggles my mind that with his speed and athleticism Deron would actually prefer slowing things down. Especially when he has the skills to take his defender off the dribble and also finish.

I am not sure why the coaching staff doent emphasize this with him enough
 
Brian Smith of SLTRIB just mailed me saying that he has brought this up with Deron and there will be a mention of it in Friday's paper and a more detailed writeup later on. Lets see what Deron has to say about this
 
I've read Deron publicly lobby Sloan to run more. Which I sort of understand, but why would he let Watson run as both a backup and a starter? And doesn't Sloan let Deron call the plays if he wants to anyway?

I'm also kind of talking out of my ***. Does Watson run as much as a starter in these games? I've seen about 20 minutes of them.
 
I suggest the English language changes the spelling and structure of the words. They are too similar and mean total opposites.

I suggest Re-Sign......and rezighnk.........the k is silent.
