2015 NBA Draft Combine (May 12-17)

Wait, what?

I'm guessing you meant 7'3.5 for Dekker? If that's true they both have huge wingspans.

Wait, just looked it up. It was 83.5'' (as in 83 inches or just an inch under 7' wingspan).

Basically what I expected for Kaminsky. Dude has narrow shoulders, nothing surprising there to me. That is a pretty good number for Dekker though being at 6'11.5 wingspan, probably an inch or 2 more than I thought it would be.

That would indicate that Dekker is almost the same size as Marvin Williams or Dieng with the T-Wolves.

At that size he could play some stretch 4.

That's actually a little better than I expected for Frank... He looks like he has alligator arms sometimes.

Sam Dekker mentioned Gordon Hayward (and Chandler Parsons) in an interview as someone that he has talked to about advice on playing in the NBA aka on being a white athletic wing in the NBA.

Yes, I blew that one, thanks for correcting me.

I'm guessing that in the next 2-3 weeks all the mocks will bump Decker up, and move Frank down a little. Then as the draft approaches they will both move back closer to the pre measurement mock positions.

Turner of the other hand seems destined to jump up the mock draft boards.

.@KellyOubreJR measured an *unofficial* 6'6.75 in shoes yet had an unofficial 7'2.25 wingspan #NBACombine @KUHoops

If I recall that wingspan is longer than previously reported on DX. He might be gone by 12.

Very likely

Portis 9'0.5" is the same as boozer, amare, Tristan Thompson, greg Monroe, loul deng, A Farouk aminu,

Rakeem Christmas with some nice measurements: 6'9.75'' in shoes, 7'5.25'' wingspan, 9'2.5'' standing reach. Worth taking a look at in the second...

Somebody to keep a watch out for:

According to @ESPNU, Robert Upshaw unofficially measured a Rudy Gobert-esqe 7-7 1/2 wingspan and 9-5 standing reach.

Justice Winslow measured 6'6.5 in shoes with a 6'10.25 wingspan

That's kinda interesting... I wonder if he ends up slipping a bit. He shouldn't but when you see measurements like Oubre's it may give some GMs pause.

Dekker is a smart dude, for sure.

Somebody to keep a watch out for:

Talent, athleticism, and length... I would have a hard time taking him after multiple drug and substance abuse issues. If I had a late first maybe, in the second round sure, but any higher than that I wouldn't do it.

Why would it? It's still great measurement. It's well above average for a wing. Oubre is just a freak... there aren't many wings with 7'2'' wingspan.

Winslow and Oubre have superior athletic tools. I wonder what Stanley Johnson will measure out to be.
