Strange post-game statements from Sloan and KOC

People, this Jerry extension was done a few months back. Koc said this on the radio a few days ago. People at 1320 and KOC said it was old news and don't know why it hit the wires just this week like it did.

I speculate that a major trade is in the works. Probably involves Andrei and with the recent blah blah about Andrea wanting to play for Jerry and stay in Utah, Jerry's a bit upset but understands the need to do something to bring in some offense despite Al's dramatic improvement the last couple weeks in running a 2 man game with Deron. Jerry is not stepping down, KOC is not stepping down, and there is no controversy in the higher ups. They are content with slightly better than average results, plus the ink is still wet on Jerry's contract extension. Say hello to RIP?

IF we wanted a more expensive and less defensive version of Raja Bell, then RIP would be a perfect fit.

Don't get excited people, nothing is happening. Making a major decision right after an emotional game is not the "Jazz" way, as it shouldn't be.

-No indication anything out-of-the-world dramatic has occurred with Jazz's Sloan. Scene definitely went down. But more heat of the moment.

-Assured by two key Jazz personnel that disussion involving Sloan and GM O'Connor was something that can happen during course of long season.

-Sloan "We are not looking to trade anybody."
Likely much ado about nothing. No trade, retirement, not even a Larry Miller "a bunch of overpaid crybabies" moment.
Sounds like was a O'Connor and Sloan "discussion." I do agree w/Twin Towers that Fesenko's playing time (and Chicago's field day on the offensive glass - I mean Omar Asik? Really?) may have been a key topic. I'll be watching the rotation closely Friday, but I'm sure the details of whatever was really said won't come out.

Mayb we're just hyping up this announcement aspect. Wasn't the only thing they even said is "we'll talk to you tomorrow about what we talked about just barely". We probably just jumped to conclusions, what can we say, we're getting pretty desperate as a fanbase right now. Stooopid

I doubt it's about trading anyone. However, it might be about PT. IF that's the case, I'm guessing that it would have something to do with Fess and/or Hayward. Neither is getting much burn.

So, they decide to blow up on a night where the Jazz play competitively against one of the best teams in the league.

Seriously, now?

No official sources have confirmed this yet though.

Your mom says I'm "official".
