Despite your thrillerness and the fact that I disagree with much of what you say and how you present ideas... I agree about the confederate flag. It needs to be taken down and should not be allowed by any state government to be seen as tied to that government in any way. It is a symbol of rebellion against the federal government and has strong ties to racist action/beliefs. That should not be something state governments allow or support in any way.

I'm sorry that Fox News listeners are ignorant. Maybe they should actually do some research and become informed?

The battle flag for whites is a rallying cry for aggression, oppression, and white supremacy. The battle flag for blacks is a symbol of slavery, suppression, and black inferiority.

Saying that the battle flag is merely a piece of cloth is like saying that this is a merely a piece of cloth:

Don't want to be labeled as ignorant? Then "you people" (those calling the flag merely a piece of cloth while ignoring the symbolism that it stands for millions) need to stop making ignorant statements about the flags meaning.

Who are you even talking to? Who in this thread is "you people"? You've gone this far, you may as well call posters out by name. Who are these Fox News listeners you are talking to? You calling Siro a Fox News listening ignorant conservative?

ok,

the whole issue with the flag banning is the left/liberals feel helpless. they create a culture of victims.
everything is offensive and offensive things should be banned.
the problem with this is i think it was mr huckabee. he asked why did people not do anything fight back.
and this is a reasonable question but the cnn anchor(i think it was cnn might be another blind biased leftist liberal media) was clearly offended and was like wtf how could he!
so yes it is a valid questions. i tend to be believed due to my training that if i am unarmed with 9 other people and someone pulls out a handgun and starts shooting, i'm not the first or 2nd to get shot. i would have charged the scrawny litle punk kid!
but the guy got to shoot 9 people he even stopped to reload in the words of lebron james "not 1 not 2 not 3 not 4" but supposedly 5 ****ing times! and nobody tried and stop him? with all due respect to the victims and their family. they are not only victims they have a victim mentality or for my liberal friends who find this offensive they have a pacifist mentality.

but instead of thinking hmm maybe we should "educate" people, and not breed more victims. it is pretty logical a gun has bullets. their is a line of fire. you need to be a few 100 yards away to get out of the line of fire, find cover or get close to the shooter(charge him as a group, or wait to reload and charge him). but we fear guns as these unstoppable ungodly like magical devices.

now this brings me back to the issue of the banning of flag from government/public. now these leftist groups who have a victim mentality (the freeze group of the 3 f's flight, fight and freeze). now that the "monster" is in jail and we are safe we try to do something to take back control. so they started with banning the flag and now thinking of banning certain statues in whatever the building is called. because they had generals from the south but they want those banned. but fail to see the sheer hypocracy of that suggestion. because in those same halls there are statues of george washington, thomas jefferson en benjamin franklin. a those founding fathers are part of 12 presidents that owned slaves. why aren't they calling for those statues to be banned. exactly they wanna eradicate the southern culture.

those left and liberals are victims who want control but going about it in the wrong way.

but to me liberals act like the same cowards in isis controlled territories. and are destroying culture and art.

they misunderstand that flag and see it as a racist symbol. so they are playing into his hands.


slave ships used to have the american flag.
the stars and stripes have as much to do with slavery and discrimination then the bars and stripes

It is not guns. You can expect more of these tragedies in America because we have black on white crime creeping deeper into American society. We are so foolish we ignore increased rape and murder of whites by blacks because it would be racist for media or academia to discuss this thing. No instead they victim blame by telling raped women is because of white priveledge.

What you think will happen if whites feel threat by blacks increasing and society does nothing to protect and wont allow are police to enforce peace? The crazies will do crazy thing.

Europe does not have racial violence problem yet but if Muslim violence continue they will have mass murdering too.
 
Other reason is because media glorifies Muslim terrorism. We did not have mass shootings before Islamic Jihadis were on television all day long since 1980s. It gives the crazies bad ideas. Like if you had tv show on making homemade explosives the crazies will blow things up.

Were you around then? Holy cow, that event set the standard for media coverage of Islamic radicals. Ted Koppel was an unknown before he was on every night after the 10/11 PM news with his report on the takeover - "America held hostage day 124..."
