The Return of Deron Williams?

Why would D-Will agree to such a lopsided buyout?

He left $15.5 on the table??? He should have gotten $40m on the buyout and signed with Dallas for vet minimum to make up difference. I not only think his body is breaking down but maybe his brain is too.

10M from the Mavs + no state income tax in TX help make up a lot of that.

This should make more people who are anti big market happy. A dude actually gave up money to go to a smaller market.

Dallas, while smaller than Brooklyn, stil has a metro population of over 7 million people ( the largest metro in the south). Not exactly a small market.

The crowd begging for DWill to come back is almost as annoying as the crowd begging for Jimmer.

Never mind... they couldn't possibly be that annoying, but they are annoying for sure.

As long as our backup PG's are Burke, Cotton, Neto, and whatever crap we've pulled off the scrap heap, I want Deron back here. At this point, I'll take any NBA-level PG on this team. Right now, our backup PG's SUCK.

Did he give up money though? He got 27M from Brooklyn and 20M from Dallas. That's more than he would have gotten from Brooklyn alone...
