If you want to know if a practice is discriminatory, the easiest thing to do is flip it around. What if it said "No Christians allowed?" Would you be OK with it then?
 
If I open up a gun store, I'm going to declare it a white-free zone. Way too many school shooters out there and maniacal race baiters in South Carolina for my taste. That doesn't even include nutsos in Colorado who shoot up theaters or windbags in Arizona who spray political rallies.

And don't even get me started on all these white people in SLC who seem to enjoy triple murder/suicides on a weekly basis. Nope, I'm just done with all these white crazies.

That dumb hick will get sued to oblivion if he actually denies someone due to their religion. And since he was dumb enough to say he was going to do it beforehand, his whole "I can deny anyone for any reason" defense will hold less water. If I were Muslim I'd honestly go there in full stereotypical garb and test his assertion.

Look if you have a store u should be able to ban everybody. if the public dont like it. dont buy stuff from that store he will get out of business

You can ban an individual. You cannot ban a CLASS of individuals. I actually don't agree that religion should be a protected class, because unlike the others (race, gender, sexuality) religion is a choice.

I'm not here to give you a lesson in the history of civil rights, but, if you're actually interested (spoiler alert: you're not), there's plenty of information on the internet.

But is anything really a choice? Free will is an illusion born out of complexity. We're all just automatons driven by the inevitable outcomes of interactions between sensors and stimuli.
