Why does the left happily push heterosexual/homosexual relationships as equal?


Yet **** hits the fan if you say all human life is equal?

-Life begins at conception
-Abortion legal in cases of rape/incest/health (Doctors approval)
-Can't just throwaway human life like a left over pizza

No I dont believe that nor did I claim that. That is also illogical argument to make. You cant arbitrarily make up what you deem makes life and then apply that same logic to a different scenario. You keep making these straw man arguments, taking what someone said to a place of extreme where you can "easily" prove them wrong. No one here thinks we should go around killing anyone under 10 we want, stop making that your argument. I understand you feel differently than others do on this subject. I guarantee you probably have a different view from everyone on this board to some degree on this subject.

Yes, people have different views and opinions. But because we all don't agree it justifies aborting unborn babies? Makes no sense.

This make no sense to me according to what you have stated as your beliefs. If you view a born baby the same as an unborn baby why would you be okay with an abortion of a rape victims baby? The baby had nothing to do with the rape. Do you believe that a baby conceived in rape is evil and should be discarded as a left over pizza? What if that baby is born does it that change anything? All human life including fetuses are the same and have the same rights according to you or is there exceptions to all life is equal from the moment of conception?

Did I claim the reason abortions should be legal is because we disagree? Disagreeing by itself is not a justification, nor do I believe anyone here has claimed that. You keep arguing with an imaginary persons argument it seems like.

Justification for abortions are many, you have listed some that I agree with.

In the cases of rape/incest it's a violent crime and forcible pregnancy. I don't believe in forcible pregnancy.

Holy hell it's like trying to explain subtraction to a 5 year old......

All human life is equal. But the rights in this case are not. All American's have varying levels of rights......Children/Adults/Men/Women/Minorities/Senior citizens....etc. Do you even know what a right is?

A women should have the right to an abortion in these cases. A woman SHOULD NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to have an abortion without a medical reason.

Get it yet? Why is this so confusing for you?
 
I think part of it is there are differences of opinion on whether or not a fetus is actually a human being.

Is a zygote a human being? Is an embryo a human being? Is a fetus at 10 weeks a human being? At 16 or 22 weeks? Some might say yes, others might say no. I don't think there is objective proof one way or another - I think it's pretty subjective.

At 28 weeks I think most would say yes, it's human. But really, how should it be determined who is right?


Note: I am not just talking about life per se, but human life. What makes it human? And at what point does its rights surpass those of the person in whose womb it is growing?

A spider is alive yet not equal in value to a human imo.

And like I said.... If I had to choose between an elderly person dying and a child then I would choose the elderly.

This thread is about abortion of human life....the comparison to animals makes no sense.

So because you would kill a 90 year old over a 5 year old it makes it OK to abort babies for no reason and sell their parts for profit?

edit: with rape i think we need tot ake into account the mental health of the woman. it is unfair to have a woman suffer more from rape for human life. ofcourse in ideal world after rape she should report it and get it taken care of within a day. aka morning after pill.
