This and me and a brother have Bdays in this month and always had a big bash.

So today is S'mores Day? I wonder if it's worth the effort to go to the store for graham crackers and marshmallows.
 
You know August sucks when you are flipping through channels and you come across the arm wrestling championships..... Two days in a row
 
August has always been my favorite month. Warm, and family reunion tradition. Life just doesn't get any better.
 
August is one of the best months here in Edmonton-- in fact, the July and August months absolutely redeem this city's worth (which is otherwise rather ****ty from October all the way to June, really. Plus, it doesn't get too hot here.

August highlights for us:
- Heritage Days Festival
- Folk Music Festival
- Fringe Festival

I guess if you live way up North, August might not be the worst. If you live in the South though, August is hell on Earth.

It's the heat and the lack of sporting events, ending of summer vacation (when you are in school).

It's in the 90's ever day with high humidity and "feels like" temps of usually around 105.
