To those pressuring Siro to become a mod

Yeah, people get really lame after they become mods.

<-- jazzfanz mod since 2005

Practically the first thing I wrote in this forum was a letter of acceptance for being a mod.

I did not understand the political preferences of the born-and-raised UN schill management, of course. Siro, on the other hand, is one of the most strident advocates of the brave new compliant world managed by the UN. So strident, in fact, that he slobbers when he realizes that there are still noncompliant folks running about who just won't agree with the whole program of enlightened, scientific management. And while Gameface lacks the education required for absolute devotion to science, as defined by management, he is none less strident in his confidence that we are in good hands.

Which brings me back to the question, should I go with "Progressive" insurance, or the "Good Hands" Allstate folks. Amazingly contrarian to all my serious prejudices, "Progressive" is cheaper and still provides pleasant service.

Seriously, I have just about decided to delete my threads and go off the webz unless I can find someone who will talk about why the sidewalk tables near the Boston Marathon first blast survived undisturbed until about five minutes after the blast, when somehow the smudge pot Hollywood smokescreen busted them up. I am sure there is a reasonable, coincidence-based scientific explanation for it.
