Guaranteed one-year contracts don't really factor in whether you cut or not for Philly because they still have to pay up to the cap floor anyways. So if there really is no "saving money" incentive they will keep whoever they think fits, which I really have no idea between Jackson and McConnell. Wroten, Marshall, and Canaan should be locks.

Yeah, but the fact they were ever signed to those contracts shows the team has an added level of faith in them over a deal that has no guaranteed years. Also they aren't 1 year guarantees, I believe they have 2 years of guarantee on them (maybe not Canaan, but if they want to cut him that would be great, he was the best pull-up 3pt shooter other than Curry).
They also have no incentive to win either, so keeping McConnell just because he is healthy for the first few weeks doesn't mean much either.
Only guaranteed for one year. I also believe Jackson was signed last year or the year before that and then suffered a terrible knee injury. I may have the events backwards. I'd be watching that roster... interesting guys.
No, they signed him last year then waived him. They signed him to a new deal this year. https://nba.nbcsports.com/2015/07/14/report-76ers-signing-pierre-jackson-to-four-year-contract/
2 years guaranteed.
Ah... makes sense then. This site has one-year guaranteed, but the fact that they gave him that deal this year means they likely stick with him.
I'm not a big TJ fan, but he has been okay on that joke of a roster in the pre-season. If they really like him I might try and trade for Thompson or Wood and offer a second round pick. They effing love second round picks.
