Two words - Shot Doctor
If the Jazz want to seriously contend, they need to maximize the offensive value of ALL their players (but especially Hayward, Burks and Gobert - who all still have tons of room for improvement.) Chip Engelland has proven that he's the guy who can get that done.
It blows my mind that teams will invest $10, $20+ million per year in players, but won't spend more on quality coaches to help them develop to their full potential. Even a slight improvement across the board AND better free throws puts this team into the playoffs for sure.
They wanted Engelland Quin's first year, but couldn't lure him from San Antonio. IMO, he's the most valuable free agent that the Jazz could possibly lure to Utah this offseason. I'd do whatever I have to do to get him. Raise. Promotion. House/car/clothes. Whatever. Go get the man.
