Great insight from Boler/Locke

I loathe both of these clowns, but I'm glad to hear it. Now read my location.

Dude your location never changes. Krispy Kreme, we all get it. Ha ha.

I never thought I would ever say this but that is pretty good insight from Boler and Locke. I expected some kind of bang down comment from Boler but otherwise that is interesting info.

Boler:
He went on to say that much of Jazz management see's D-Will as a player who will likely bang down 3 or 4 teams over the course of his career and quite a few different coaches.

On the comments from Boler and Locke, I felt like it was ditto from Harpring during the broadcast (sorry no link). He said he didn't know for certain what Deron had said, but it sure sounded to me like he had some kind of source. Whether it was Deron himself (and was just protecting him) or Boler/Locke/others, I think he knew more than he let on.

While this is still a shock. I'm am convinced they don't make this deal if they believe there was a great chance at keeping him. My ideal scenario now is watching him walk away from the Nets with them getting nothing. :)

Well if this is true then why not try to make a better deal. It seems everyone around the NBA had no clue that the Jazz wanted to move DW. I am sure if people really thought they would move DW there might have been a better deal.

Nevertheless, your comments are very interesting and I am not so mad about the trade if it is true that DW didn't want to be here.

I think every GM knew the Jazz were looking to move Deron. KOC would have made those calls. KOC is VERY good at maintaining silence and demanding the same of his trade partners. The Jefferson deal was not leaked until the night before (by Greg Miller), even though the trade talks had begun at the previous all-star break. The AK "almost deal" was only leaked after it fell apart (and KOC was not pleased). You can bet KOC made calls to every GM to get offers. If you believe what has been said, Deron was shopped earlier this year and NO ONE heard about it. That KOC keeps talks secret - and demands the same of others - makes me really respect the man.

Why, so he can go to the Lakers???

Keep him in the east, man. I don't think Prok makes this deal if he didn't think he could convince Me-Will to stay.

Nah. He'll go to the Knicks to make their new triple threat. Just because he thinks he can does not mean he can.

You could tell when D.Will played in the spotlight during All-Star Games and the Olympics how much he liked the media attention.

How come we never hear complaints out of players who play in San Antonio? That place isn't much fun.
