Me, I guess? IDK, when analyzing a team, their record is generally pretty indicative of where they're at, and talent-acquisition (including depth, especially in this Jazz's particular case at this moment) is central to success?

But yeah, things are fine/pretty good. Most things are complex and neither the best or the worst.

I guess what I'm saying is, yeah, the Jazz could obviously use another good player.

Anyway. I hope you're not mad.

there are 6 total teams in the NBA who are playing better on the road than the Jazz-- a team that has played 10 of their games on the road.

If Rudy was healthy, we'd be in great shape to snag the 7th seed. Adding Carroll, pushing Hayward to the 2, and Burks to the 1 full-time would doubtfully propel us to a top 3 seed.

The Jazz are being hindered by a slumping Rodney Hood (which of course won't last), inconsistent backup minutes from their bigmen, and inconsistent PG play. I'm not sure how any names like Green, Harris, Carroll (etc.) address those three major needs of our team thus far.
 
so far the only miscalculation has seemed to be the hope of Pleiss being able to contribute from day one. We are incredibly thin at the 5, and a rotation of Pithey/Pleiss simply needs to turn it on.

Once Hood gets his feet right, making a trade for a Belinelli-type (especially with a team pining for draft picks) will not be difficult.

It was the perfect decision to not shake our wing rotation and guard rotation just yet. If Booker can't fill in for Rudy's absence, we need another backup-PF while Trey Lyles matures. We can swipe a center from Boston's crowded rotation for a draft pick, and make a splash in free agency if we doubt the future of an Exum/Burke/Neto PG rotation.
 
fwiw demarre carroll is averaging 12 points in 32 minutes, shooting under 40% from the field, not getting to the line and only shooting 63% from the line when he does get there.
1 assist per game too.
 
Danny green plays 28 minutes per game (same as Burks)
He averages 7 points per game. He is shooting 32% FROM THE FIELD!
29% from three! He gets to the line less than 1 time per game.
Averages 2 assists per game.
 
Wesley Matthews averages 30 minutes per game.
Scores 12 points per game. Shoots 36% from the field. 34% from three. Gets to the line twice per game. Averages 2 assists per game.
 
Alec burks plays 28 minutes per game.
Averages 15 points per game. Shoots 42% from the field. 40% from three. Gets to the line 5 times per game and shoots 80% from the line. Averages 2 assists per game.
 
I looked up hoods numbers as well and he is outplaying green, carroll and matthews as well. Hayward is playing better than all three of those guys too.

I love our wing rotation
 
Just looked up trey burke's season numbers and they are quite fantastic too. His minutes are just low

Yeah, it's crazy how the Hawk's offense can make you look (which was my point in talking about Burke/Schroeder comparison).

Yeah, but he just had a crazy game. It was expected he would start off super bad given his injury.
