Draymond Green was a 4 year college player, he's 6'6" and change without shoes. He turns 26 in a few months, after his 4th season, he's actually older than Hayward. ..
Green's a terrible comparison for most players, because of just how well-rounded/battle-tested his game is.. Green's easily one of the best 2nd round picks ever, it's a steep comparison. That comparison is quickly becoming the new Shaun Livingston comparison, maybe even worse.
There's one player in HS, a Canadian, Justin Jackson who's headed to UNLV, who i'd compare his skillset to Draymond Green, he's a 6'7" Point forward with a 7'2" wingspan though, and his timeline will be much different, Justin Jackson isn't going to need 4 years of college to build up 2nd round hype..
To compare him to a prototype sized PF like Lyles, who was a one-and-done just doesn't work for me. Lyles will just be 23 at the end of his rookie deal, Draymond Green was 23 at the end of his rookie season.. I'm weary about comparing players on such different timelines, there's a massive unaccounted gap in experience..
