I believe that liberal policies frequently produce results that are dramatically different from those they are purported to. I believe that some liberal politicians, Hillary being a perfect example, are more interested in pandering to earn votes from minorities than they are in actually fixing the underlying problems.

Here, we'll dumb this down. A decent chunk, in fact nearly 1/3 so far, of the Republican party support Trump. This includes, publicly, groups like the KKK and other white nationalist organizations and supporters. They are a part of the party, and the conservative movement, whether you like it or not, right?

I don't associate or want to be associated with those groups. Period. As others, including myself, have asked you and other R's over and over and over with no answer.....

How do you, YOU PERSONALLY, reconcile with this fact? I don't want the hear further deflection and projection. How do you justify supporting a party that known and proud racists and fascists associate with?

All I get is that you are playing the all or nothing game. Nothing is that simple of that cut and dry. Are there some racists that support Trump? Absolutely. Are there some non racists that support Trump? Absolutely.

Stop playing this all or nothing game. This comes from someone who will not support trump.

Voting for Donald Trump is an all or nothing proposition in this country. If you don't think so, fine. Yes, I think it's pointless for you to engage me further in this convo.

You completely sidestepped my question.

I didn't ask how effective the Dems are-- I asked you if the rights proposed policies are less discriminatory. What do you think Joe?

You can't possibly be this much of a simpleton. Do you agree with all of the stances of everybody who supports Democrat candidates? Of course you don't.

That's not at all what I said. Liberal policies often compromise the very populations they purport to help. One simple example is minimum wage. On the surface it seems like something that will put more money in the pockets of the poorest workers, and liberal politicians often make it part of their platform.

In reality minimum wage increases do not help impoverished people for numerous reasons:
1) They encourage employers to cut staffing.
2) They encourage employers to automate tasks, replacing employees with machines.
3) They encourage employers to move employees into classes that are not protected by the rules, such as becoming part time employees.
4) They encourage employers to outsource, moving jobs overseas.
5) They cause inflation because the cost of the labor must be included in the cost of the product, thereby increasing the cost of living for everyone and nullifying any gains made through minimum wage increases.

In short, disadvantaged populations find themselves in a worse position as a result of liberal politicians pandering to them and pushing minimum wage legislation through.

I'll make this easier for you Joe, because I'm sure you're realizing that you're wrong-- give me a list of policies that the Reps are proposing, that will help America's very real racism problem against minorities of all stripes.

Well, you're wrong.

Your argument is that the abolition of a raise in minimum wage (yikes) is a policy proposed by the right that outdoes every other policy proposed on either side of government.

If a low minimum wage alone could defeat racism, we wouldn't be talking about race 50 years after MLK died
 
Joe, your point is firmly grounded in fairy tales & an insult to black intellectuals nationwide. Hopefully someone else can dive in to explain why.
