So he stopped running Jerry's plays. How long would it take before he'd stop running Quin's? Actually let it happen. I would pay good money to see a confrontation between Snyder and Williams in front of the bench.

Hopefully not long at all because Snyder's plays suck.
 
That would be awesome if DWill opted out and came back. We'd finally have a crunch time player again!
 
The moron Jazz fans booing him every time he touches the ball sure wont help influence him to return. Somehow the booing only grew louder over the years...

I was there also. I didn't cheer, but I didn't boo. (And was surprised by how many did boo.)

I have no ill will towards DWill. He's been nothing but respectful towards Utah.

He played well for us and netted us a good return on the trade.
If he is ok being a back up PG and at a decent price I'm all in. I'd gladly cheer him on again.

The dude can run an offense, score when is needed AND is a veteran who can really help teach and guide the team during the tough stretches of games and of the season.

He certainly looked good in that game, not sure how the rest of his season has gone. If he's got gas left in the tank, why not? Like you, I'd gladly cheer him on again.

He was decent and would be good but there are a couple things that concern me.

I'm not sure he's absolutely consumed with winning at this point. Not that he will go full AK but I think there is a lower care factor.

Im not sure he'd be into mentoring. He's matured but some guys just aren't into that and I think he might be one.

Also, he mentioned the boos after. It irked him and while that may not deter him from doing its a reminder that many view him as the Sloan killer and will likely never change their mind. There's some baggage he'd likely rather not deal with.

I doubt either party would be really excited and I highly doubt he'd come off the bench for us like some are wanting.
 
I was one of the bigger DW fans when he was in Utah and I defended him during the SLoan/DW fight. I don't think DW is as bad as people portray him but I also think he has a "dick" factor that makes it hard to defend him now. I still think he is talented. However, I think his body is broken. He has missed a lot of games and didn't play the last few playoff games due to a sports hernia.

I doubt he is the mentoring type and I think he can be divisive in the locker room. However, when he is healthy he can still put up some good numbers. Perhaps coming back where his career started would help him. The same fans that boo him would cheer him if he helped the team to get to the playoffs. I always think it is stupid to continue to boo players long after they have left. You have to care to boo. I don't really care about what happened between Sloan and him. I am sure both guys shared fault in the situation. I read somewhere that DW apologized to Jerry so as far as I am concerned that isn't an issue for me.

The biggest issues are can he stay healthy, is his attitude going to change if the Jazz lose, is he going to be a team player, how much money does he want and would he be willing to come off the bench. I doubt several of these things happening. I don't even know if the Jazz are interested or not. But it would certainly make things interesting around here if he did come back.

This is one of my biggest concerns. That, and how would he and Hayward get along? By most reports they didn't exactly hit it off last time around.
