My point still stands. He ain't taking us anywhere for 2-3 years.
I believe in Exum. I've said all along his first year was his RS year. Ignore it. His second year is his rookie year, expect him to struggle. Then in his third year, you will start to see signs of greatness.
His timeline was delayed for a year due to the injury. So, if we are still 2 years out from seeing some of Exum's potential and probably 4-5 years out from him hitting All Star level, why are we holding on so tightly to Favors and Hayward? It's Millsap and Jefferson all over again.

Um...maybe because Utah and Boston have different goals at the moment? Maybe because Boston wants to win now instead of later. Maybe Boston says we can get two B+ players RIGHT NOW vs the chance at an A player 3-5 years from now? Maybe because by adding Hayward and Favors, you are a legit #2 team in the East AND you can add 2 MAX players?
But, yeah, there are NO reasons for Boston to consider a trade like that.

If you can pull those picks off, then it would be really fun to watch. Keep getting younger, I have no problems with it. But also get ready to go Suns or Sixers for a while. Already gives me headache to think of the bitching that is no lesser than the amount of crap cloverfield ****s after eating at burger king.

I agree. I do find it funny that people are afraid that we will turn into the 76ers, when we have reached the playoffs the same amount of times as Philly has since Deron left and Philly has a better foundation than we do.
But the Miller's have made more money than the 76ers, so we have that going for us.

Why all the Hayward to Boston talk? Because Hayward played for Stevens in college? He's now played for Snyder for as long as he ever played for Stevens and over far more games. And he's stated publicly his how much he likes Snyder. So what's his mystical connection to Stevens and why would that be stronger than any connection he has with Snyder and Utah? Plus, does Stevens feel this same connection to Hayward? Does Stevens naturally want Hayward over other options, just because he coached him at Butler?
This just strikes me as an example of a lazy argument somebody somewhere makes on the internet or on some talking head radio or TV show and then suddenly everyone starts aping it.

From my point of view, Hayward is probably the best player Boston realistically has a chance at. It's funny, Hayward is better than a lot give him credit for around here, yet Burks and Hood are a lot worse than they get credit for.
If we traded Hayward and started Hood and Burks...I'm not sure we win 20 games next year. We would be BAD. Unless Exum magically skips 2+ years of development coming off an injury and reaches near all star level.

That is pure speculation.
One thing you could do that would be actual facts is look at games that Hayward missed (like this year against cleveland that we won) and see how we did without him. That would be a small sample size but at least it wouldn't be speculative.
Also you have to remember that if we trade Hayward then we get something back right? And someone else moves into the rotation too right?

I was assuming we'd trade hayward for picks. So we wouldn't get anything back until next year (if you can't tell, I want Brooklyn's pick ha ha.)
If I get time I'll look at that, but those two are a clear step down from Hayward. Especially with Snyder's offensive system. His offense is too slow. If we had Horny and his uptempo style, I think Burks and Hood would be much, much better.
He stated publicly that he is considering going to a contender not a place like Boston. This is Deron all over again. As a fan I feel hollow inside.
