I wish that they would highlight Gail Miller-The owner of the Utah Jazz every chance they get to.

I wonder if there are any noobs on this site that don't even know who Gail is. Larry was so high profile, but she stays so in the background.

I can remember maybe twice last year that they even put the camera on her and I don't remember them ever highlighting her at all. It's not a big deal and it's totally her decision. I am not criticizing her. I was simply saying that it would be cool if she were more visible.

I hear you, but if you know where she sits you can point her out to your daughter because the back of her head is on camera a lot (almost straight across from the opposing teams bench). And I think it's admirable that she doesn't put the spotlight on herself.

Excellent thoughts. The NBA is particularly biased against midgets. Hopefully someone will bring a class action lawsuit to fix that.

I am glad that when I watch a game with my daughter there will be a woman involved in the broadcast. When we go to a game the only women there that are highlighted are dancers. I understand that there is WNBA and the Utes but that's not a good reason for the JAZZ to have a complete lack of role models for young women.

Not that I don't think this change was needed, I thought the TV crew needed a bit of a shake up for a couple of years, Brownie and Alema Harrington were always who I thought the easiest to replace.

BTW I think she's gonna be a GREAT addition to the root sports team... it has gotten a bit stale the last couple of seasons and she's gonna inject a much needed 'life' into the broadcast IMO.
