Just because something is reported doesn't make it a fact. That's why I was asking if there was any confirmation. I have no idea who that Twitter source is, how reliable they are, where they got that info, etc.

Maybe it's because I'm using the app, but I don't see a source link at all. And when I tried a google search on the text you posted it took me to this thread. And when I tried looking through bballinsiders' Twitter feed I couldn't find it. Granted I'm bad at Twitter.
So what I'm seeing is something that may or may not have been tweeted out by someone called bballinsiders, and even if so hasn't been confirmed by anyone (I assume).
Any more details you can give would be appreciated.

According to whom? How reliable is the info? Has it been verified? Not sure why this is hard to comprehend. You don't just automatically believe everything you read on the internet do you? So why do you believe THIS particular item?

Because it's way more money than any comparable pick swap I've heard of in the past.
Most 2nd round pick swaps are in the 1-2 million dollar range, I wouldn't call 3 million way more. If a team wants to get the deal done, are they really going to scoff at a team asking for 3 million?
Factor in Brooklyn is desperate to get young talent so they can have any semblance of optimism for their fan base and the guy they were targeting was a hometown player. Then factor in their owner is one of the richest men in the world w/ a net worth of 8.6 billion dollars.
In a league where role players are getting paid 15+ million a year IDK why this surprises you so much that you can't even believe a reputable source.
Now we've come full circle. Is it a reputable source? That's what I've been trying to find out.
