IDK why this is so hard to believe.
According to whom? How reliable is the info? Has it been verified? Not sure why this is hard to comprehend. You don't just automatically believe everything you read on the internet do you? So why do you believe THIS particular item? There aren't more details though. The Jazz swapped picks and got 3 million.

Because it's way more money than any comparable pick swap I've heard of in the past.IDK why this is so hard to believe.

In a league where role players are getting paid 15+ million a year IDK why this surprises you so much that you can't even believe a reputable source.
He will make the Nets roster, have you seen their roster?P.S. And $3 million to move up 13 or whatever spots in the second round for a player who likely won't even make your roster (most second rounders don't) still sounds like too much, even for a rich owner!
Its one of the smartest moves they have made in years.I agree with Colton. This is really dumb. Are the Nets allergic to money?
Uh, he's hot?!? What else is there.Jazz could save more cash too by cutting Whitey. DO not see what yall see in that guy. He is a fringe NBA player. That does not have anything he is great at on the court. A Dime a dozen big guy that can be found in Every NBA Draft and free agent pool
I think your price estimate on Gobert is about right, but you are forgetting that there was a pick swap involved as well. We ended up drafting Eric Green for them (I think). Either way, it looks to me like DL won both of these trades.Let's put it this way...
The Celtics had 8 draft picks in this draft. 4 teams had a full 25% of the picks in the first round. NO TEAM needs that many picks so the selling price should have been lower than normal. The free agency splurging context happened AFTER the draft so funny money wasn't really in play to that extent.
Does anyone know how much we paid to buy the pick from the Nuggets that got us Gobert? I think it was around $1.3 million. I think we paid less than $1 million for Neto. And in both cases we flat out bought the picks. The nets paid $3 million in a weak draft to move up 13 spots. Seriously, Dennis is the bomb!
