The idiot list is forever.
And you are their king.
The idiot list is forever.
Eh. Both players are out of the league in three years. We are really splitting hairs at this point.
It boils down to this: To win a title, you need elite players. Lillard is a top 5, maybe top 3 player at his position. Gobert is a top 3 player at his position. Hayward is a top 10 player at his position.
You now have stars. Go get those freaking stars.
Or they are rotation players or jimmy butler or Rudy Gobert I mean it does happen.
I am only talking about the deron trade though. We ain't getting Lillard.
This is an unusually deep draft full of talent. I've heard experts say this draft goes 60 deep in this draft. I think there will be more then a few good picks later in this draft.
Good retort.because we can control the first-round pick's future for longer. In short, it's a cheap long-term contract situation... which is good when you're at the stage of a build like the Utah Jazz.
You missed it? Dang man, it was glorious. When did we get Lillard and D will... I'm confused
Good retort.
Hayward: 1 all star appearanceFor whatever reason, Jazz fans are anti-star. I don't know why.
If we want to win a title, we need a star. Once you have a star, you need to fill in around the star with cheap veterans. Not youth. Not late first round picks.
There are a GLUT of stars available. It is almost unforgivable if the stars get moved and we don't get one.
Go get those stars. Then, go get the Deron's of the world and surround those stars with Veteran players. Not young, maybe someday this #30 pick will be as good as a 32 year old Deron Williams.
