Why Not Trade Idea?

Some roster pieces are either old or hard to keep right now so you kinda need those first rounders to keep rebuilding. If you are gonna trade Favors and Burks, why not acquire more and more picks instead? Also Booker's stock is at its highest right now so even if he is touchable it is hard to get him with this deal.

I post, therefore I am.

So in some opinions, the guy is more untouchable than George, Butler and Lillard. In other opinions, he is only as good as Hood.

He is not as good as George, Butler or Lillard but has the potential to be. The difference is he is young and on a rookie contract. The only reason you trade a player like that is if you are in win now mode which I dont think Phoenix is in or you really think someone in the draft or another young player has more potential. None of our players fit that bill. We also do not have a draft pick anywhere in the neighborhood of star potential. George Butler and Lillard are most likely out of our reach as well for simlar reasons but those teams are not in the same boat as Phoenix or are trying to rebuild like Phoenix and looking to trade those players for a Booker or draft picks to get Booker type player.

Yeah, he is more untouchable than George easily.

Do you know why? It's because Booker is in his 2nd year, meaning he has two more years on a super cheap contract before he hits RFA. His contract is supremely valuable. Bringing up his metrics atm is kind of lulz. He is 20 and playing one of the worst teams in the league. Furthermore, look at the kids numbers in 2017, they are amazing. Darkwing Duck is being dumb and you are extremely naive for even creating this thread.

Eff Booker just get Lebron or Curry

Yeah well, it is as old as the Earth for opinions to differ and conflict. You have your own too for instance and I respect it but see unnecessary and not really possible. But maybe I am wrong and you are right or the opposite or none of us are right or both of us are right. I'm sure Lindsey's sleep will not be affected by any of these possibilities.

I would rather have booker than butler, george, or lillard

Remember when Stifle Tower went ballistic in the draft thread because DL drafted a ballerina who couldn't shoot worth a damn in college? And I was basically told to STFU!

I seem to member the majority of Jazz fans wanting Booker and pretty much everyone except thee jazz fan hating the Lyles pick. But don't let what actually happened get in the way of your I told ya so moment.

1.Butler
2.Booker
3.Lillard
4.George

Cuz of contracts
True. Agreed.

I have just been blown away by booker every time I have seem him play.
I often feel like if he has just a little bit of space then he will never miss.

I wanted that skinny wing from kansas. Can't remember his name now. I have no idea if he is doing good or not right now.

Kelly Oubre? He is doing pretty meh, but is obviously still very young. He is averaging 20 min a night for the Wizards and scoring 6 points on low shooting percentages.

He was who I thought the Jazz should try for. He seemed like high risk high reward player.

The Suns aren't trading Booker for Favors who seems to have reached his ceiling and has injury concerns plus picks that don't carry much value because we are a playoff team. Not nearly enough value.

Ya that's the one.
Thanks for the info
