What a dumb way to put it. Like he was injured because he was jinxed by the bad karma after leaving OKC and joining with the Warriors.
"There is only one certain thing in the NBA: Nothing is certain."
Well thank you captain obvious. You've saved the day once again.
Durant's decision was romantically bad. But it was the right move business and career-wise. But he could stay in OKC and run for championship easily in there too. Just a few steps away from championship, that road is. I do not blame him for leaving his team and joining the enemy, I wouldn't do that if I were him, but I do not blame him.
I post, therefore I am.
It was indeed a bitch move and strikes me as a immature kid desperately wanting to be a part of the cool kids group with Draymond easily manipulating him into the decision. Reports from people that know him are he's pretty insecure which would make manipulating him pretty easy. It's speculation obviously, but what's not up for debate is leaving OKC for San Fran was weak. Period. He's a big, hairy, *****, no doubt. I don't hate him, but I now have zero respect for him and consider him to be the biggest gutless wonder the NBA has ever seen. Oh, and I hate him.
How about LBJ leaving Cleveland for Miami?
If you hate Durant, you have to hate any player who has left their original team. Westbrook is a ball hog. Though both deny any bad blood, the two probably couldn't co-exist. Durant was a FA and free to choose his employer.
What Carlos Boozer did was far worse. But we gladly welcomed him here, ethics notwithstanding.
