What's new

Utah Jazz (49-31) @ Golden State Warriors (66-14) - 8:30 PM

Money isn't the reason players aren't getting it. Goberts eyes are probably still changing. Most people can't get it until mid to late 20s.

He's fine to get it at his age, early 20's is ok nowdays. The issue is more that with the way the incisions are made and the way the cornea heals, an injury like a finger poke is almost the only way that the cornea can be damaged post op, it can potentially dislodge the part of the tissue that is treated and be a real problem. If i was playing a contact sport like that there's no way i'd want it done. Contacts actually afford some protection.

Holy shut we are going to win this! 538 gave the jazz a 16% chance to win. This is awesome. Effffff the clippers. They will lose and we will win out.

Does 538's model take into account that this was basically an exhibition game for the Warriors? Maybe it does because 16% would have seemed a bit high to me if I had seen it before the game.

Lol wut? Durant and Curry played 30 minutes. If anything it was an exhibition game for the jazz and a real game for the warriors.

Bolomboy bitches. I told you he can play. Will be a nice rotation player off the bench next year. Can do a little bit of everything.

Like everyone else I thought we didn't have much of a chance to win this game. But in the back of my mind I remembered someone posting the jazz record when hayward is out and it being better than when he plays.

Strange to me these days athletes getting paid millions of $ can't afford to go get eye lasik.
They can afford it. My wife got lasik and I don't make much money.

No, that is not a factor that they model.

But both teams treated it as an exhibition. Both teams rested players who would have played had this been the playoffs. Jazz wanted to see Joel get some burn and see what he could do so they played him over Withey.

The win meant more to the Jazz players. Only Draymod gave a **** if they won, others Ws were having fun and relaxing before the playoffs begin.

I actually think Bolomboy was just a better match against goldenstates smaller lineup than Witney would have been. I only see him getting time at the 5 against small teams otherwise he's a four or a three. I like him though and I'm glad he got some quality minutes.

I think the warriors keep it light. Most highlights I see they are laughing or smiling, which is easy to do when you're winning, but I still count this as a quality win.

Bolomboy will be the reason we bounce GSW in the second round.

Just finished up watching the 2nd half on break at work.

Things I liked: hills shot looked great.
Rudy's left hand statue of liberty dunk. (Deserved a salute tbh)
Dantes dunk.
JJ outside shot and clutchness
Diaw passing
Watching bolomboy run around and ooze energy/juice. Should have got more minutes this year.
Near the end of the third quarter the jazz had a lineup of mack, exum, burks, JJ and bolomboy going against a warriors lineup with durant and curry in it and the jazz out played them with what would likely be argued by most jazz fans is about the worst lineup we have ever had on court at the same time.

Great win last night. It meant something too and wasn't a soft win since we had our main players out. **** yeah.
