Sometimes i wonder if any jazz fanz on this board are a member of the predominant religion. Being a playboy model and doing bra selfies and posting them is a huge nono in Mormon culture, and within the beliefs of the religion. Sure, the team isn't church owned or managed, but their fanbase; being in Utah; are a big consideration when it comes to personnel decisions and team policy. Aka: they don't play at home on Sundays. The point being that even dating a playboy model at all makes 'us' question Jeff's decision making process, and it makes sense to 'us' that she is a headcase.

Edit: it is also against the religion and culture to beat your girlfriend, so i hope it isn't true.

Ehh, the only thing I see is that she has proven to be petty and willing to humiliate Jeff in the public eye. It's a pretty huge leap though to go from that level of petty to accusing someone of domestic violence.

I've been reading through this, and my gut feeling is that the woman is a scumbag.

1. She says she's reporting it to protect other women -- oh, why did you wait so long? Very disingenuous
2. She already is a person of loose moral standards -- poses for playboy, takes selfies in her bra -- c'mon
3. She picks an emotional period in Jeff's life, in the playoffs when he's under great pressure due to Gobert's absence -- sounds like a vendetta, trying to get back at him
4. She reports in a different town than where it happened
5. The police already investigated the incident and didn't think important enough to write it up.

It's hard to give this woman the benefit of the doubt based on the above questionable facts and motives. Yes, we have to keep our minds open. But I think we also need to give Jeff at least the benefit of the doubt, especially when he is accused by someone of questionable integrity.

This is a whole lot of awful. Be better.
