Following Former Jazzmen

It took Kyrylo Fesenko just 15 minutes to drop 24 points, gather nine (!) offensive rebounds, notch 31 in PIR and generally absolutely demolish the Reggio Emilia defenses.

He was clearly unstoppable, as was Sidigas Avellino in general that made the 1 – 0 in the playoff series after a 82 – 64 win.

Fesenko played 4 Seasons with the jazz from 2008 to 2011. He appeared in 132 games, more games than Raul Neto, Mo Willams, or Keith McCloud. With 53 career blocks he ranks 56th in jazz history.

Former guys I like:

Fesenko
Araujo
Big Dog
Handlogten
Polynice

We need more of this toughness.

I remember when we traded for Hoffa... everyone always talked about his dirty fouls and flagrants. I went to the first summer league game and watched him lay down Marvin Williams with a flagrant 2 on the first play and get ejected.

I'm a little fuzzy on whether or not it was a flagrant 2 and he was ejected, but I prefer that story better.

Who are the 3?

Mark Jackson
Derek Fisher
Raja Bell

Am I close???

Amaechi. Except he's just an idiot and was really, really terrible as a player. The above three, in addition to being idiots, are huge assholes.

Ehh, personally I've still got Jackson/Fisher in classes by themselves. The others are kind of meh in my book, but nowhere close to those two.

Stockton had so many crappy backups after we lost Eisley that I (and I think a lot of people) really salivated at the idea of a true distributor coming off he bench and for a number of years before landing him I wanted Jackson. What a douche he was.

In hindsight I think Crotty during his second stint was Stockton's best backup. He was leading our bench to some great runs before he blew out his ACL.

I always like Jaques vaughn. (Albeit irrationally )

Dribbled the ball too much. He got a ring, though.
I loved his defense. Though quite small he was very hard to back down/overpower.
