Zach Lowe: Paul George would love to play with Gordon Hayward

Burks hurts a trade. I don't think we could get a team in the NBA to simply take Burks. His contract and injury history make him less of an asset and more of a liability.

I would rather have Exum than Hood. I would like to keep both, but I just don't see Indy wanting just Favors, #24 and #30 for George. They can get better. To me, Exum seems like he has more potential. Most importantly, I think he has elite level potential with his size and athleticism. The best teams have specialists and I just don't see Hood having as many as Exum. And lastly, I think Hood has more trade value right now than Exum.

You'd rather have Exum and Hood has more trade value...?¿?¿

None of Favors, Hood or Exum are a deal breaker to be honest. I'm not sure Favors is in the team's plans for the future. . . so he'd be the easiest to live without. Hood and Exum both need to get healthy and stronger and then fill out their roles on the team. Lyles needs to grow up and stop sucking. I'd prefer to keep them (and dump Burks) just in case the whole thing goes sideways and both Hayward and PG would decide go elsewhere next year. Gives the Jazz at least an option to replace both of them and move forward. Rudy is the key and he's locked up for 4 more years.

Few years ago Love put up monster numbers and had a great +-. He plays with two ball dominant guys. If he's featured and gets close to what he was before he will really open up our offense.

He scores 20+ and grabs 10+ boards. He would be a huge acquisition.

Indiana apparently has a deal on the table to send PG to Cleveland. Love would move to a third team, and Indiana would take back picks and young assets. The deal was reportedly ready to go when Cleveland sacked their GM. I'm wondering who the third team is. Houston? Minnesota? OKC? Utah?

Good passer and efficient too.

I'd be good with George or love... would worry PG mails it in and would worry about loves injury history.

I wouldn't doubt if it was us. We are quiet and mysterious... eff dan Gilbert

Not a huge Love fan but there's worse players we could get. At least offensively he'd fit in and do well in Utah

He was considered a top 10-15 guy... I realize he might not be perfect for the warriors but we'd be better. Gobert may cure a lot of his defensive issues.

Hell if he is better at defense than Boris and one legged Favs then we become much better on offense while maintaining or defensive identity.

But he gets this team no closer to a championship. It's expensive window dressing IMO. I'd rather keep Favors and trade Burks, Lyles and a plethora of draft picks to rent PG13. Love might fit great between Gobert and Hayward during the regular season, but his deficiencies will be exposed against the Warriors in the playoffs. He just doesn't match up well against them, and the Jazz don't have LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. PG could play the 2/3 for Utah and alleviate some of the scoring load from Hayward. I just think those two would fit together really, really well. That's the trade Utah should be pursuing.

Let's say it was us. Break down the details of this trade. What would we ship out and what would we get?

The main reason I want the Jazz to trade for Paul George?

Because if you start with this. . .

. . . and then add this. . .

[video=youtube_share;5gxYUbKWwrQ]https://youtu.be/5gxYUbKWwrQ

. . . and then this. . .

[video=youtube_share;nxFPEpWKcdE]https://youtu.be/nxFPEpWKcdE

. . . and then this. . .

. . . and of course this. . .

. . . it equals pretty ****ing awesome. Anything else you can add is purely bonus.

This is true. He was a badass. Hours teams record while he was putting up huge numbers on the other hand.....

Wasn't love pretty good in the finals?
