I love Hood but he is......... an average defender.
He's a below average defender and he's worse when he's not clicking offensively.

Hood might have hit his ceiling. Why you want to give Hood when we can get rid of Burks or Exum? Hood is way more valuable.
I'm confused by it as well.I don't get the Love love. If the Jazz can get PG13 over Kevin Love they should do that easy.
Burks hurts a trade. I don't think we could get a team in the NBA to simply take Burks. His contract and injury history make him less of an asset and more of a liability.
I would rather have Exum than Hood. I would like to keep both, but I just don't see Indy wanting just Favors, #24 and #30 for George. They can get better. To me, Exum seems like he has more potential. Most importantly, I think he has elite level potential with his size and athleticism. The best teams have specialists and I just don't see Hood having as many as Exum. And lastly, I think Hood has more trade value right now than Exum.
Few years ago Love put up monster numbers and had a great +-. He plays with two ball dominant guys. If he's featured and gets close to what he was before he will really open up our offense.
He scores 20+ and grabs 10+ boards. He would be a huge acquisition.
Indiana apparently has a deal on the table to send PG to Cleveland. Love would move to a third team, and Indiana would take back picks and young assets. The deal was reportedly ready to go when Cleveland sacked their GM. I'm wondering who the third team is. Houston? Minnesota? OKC? Utah?
I wouldn't doubt if it was us. We are quiet and mysterious... eff dan Gilbert
Not a huge Love fan but there's worse players we could get. At least offensively he'd fit in and do well in Utah

But he gets this team no closer to a championship. It's expensive window dressing IMO. I'd rather keep Favors and trade Burks, Lyles and a plethora of draft picks to rent PG13. Love might fit great between Gobert and Hayward during the regular season, but his deficiencies will be exposed against the Warriors in the playoffs. He just doesn't match up well against them, and the Jazz don't have LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. PG could play the 2/3 for Utah and alleviate some of the scoring load from Hayward. I just think those two would fit together really, really well. That's the trade Utah should be pursuing.

This is true. He was a badass. Hours teams record while he was putting up huge numbers on the other hand.....Few years ago Love put up monster numbers and had a great +-. He plays with two ball dominant guys. If he's featured and gets close to what he was before he will really open up our offense.
Yes. Hood is a proven starter. I just prefer Exum. You'd rather have Exum and Hood has more trade value...?¿?¿
