Patrick Beverley Available

Jazz aren't improving with the addition of a role player like Beverly. Why would Exum want to sit behind all these role players (Mack,Neto and then Beverly).I could see him wanting out of Utah no matter what it takes.
Houston is a elite team and to make him available should signal Jazz to let some other team go after him if Houston is done with him.

I honestly do not care what Exum wants. He gets nothing until he earns it. If competition is to tough for him than the Jazz are better off moving on from him.

Also your line of thought on elite teams trading players is terrible. For many reasons. One being that not all teams are created equal. For example the Jazz and Rockets are nothing alike. Different players would work, or not, depending on team mates, coaching, tempo, offensive and defensive sets...

This was a terrible post.

I agree. Exum has to earn it. He needs minutes though.

However, I do like Beverley over Hill due to his contract, defense and ability to play off guard. Harden played PG a ton this season while Beverley played elsewhere. If Exum emerges, its not like we shelf Beverley.

This is not the type of trade that makes Hayward say - hey, what an amazing move. I totally want to play with Beverley. It's the type of move that tells Hayward we are not serious and he bolts.

I don't think this move would make him want to leave, I just don't see it as a move that would make him want to stay. Which may be kinda the same thing in this scenario. Also, maybe Hayward ****ing hates Patrick Beverly. Crazier things have happened.

I'm in on Teodosic.

Well unfortunately for the Jazz and Exum he had his injury during prime development years. The news this offseason on Exum has been promising.

But if he wants playing time he needs to earn that as well. Nothing is given in this league.

And you can dislike that comment as well Et Tu Brute.

All well and good but this cannot be the extent of what the Jazz do IMO.

If this is the PG we go to Hayward with at 12:00AM on July 1st, you can bid Hayward a farewell.

Mentally I have already packed his bags... I don't think it looks good. REALLY HOPE I AM WRONG DOE!

If Hayward stays or goes, adding Beverley is a smart move. Think about it for a second. Some of you guys are okay giving Hill $20+ and Ingles $12+. Beverley makes 1/3 of what you want to give Hill and half as much as Ingles.

We are one of the few teams would could completely absorb his contract before free agency even starts. We could even add Lou Williams AND Beverley. Their combined contracts right now are $13 million and we have more than that in cap space available.

Our depth would be incredible if we added those two. Probably means we lose Ingles though.
