Stretch 4's who also play defense

Name them. We're not getting Draymond and Millsap would likely be too pricey, especially given his age. So who else is out there that we could perhaps trade for who can match-up decently against Durant and/or Draymond?

Millsap is not a stretch 4. He shoots 26% from 3 in the playoffs, including 17% this year and has got worse every year the last 4 years from an already bad 3 point percentage in the playoffs. But he is a good player.

Serge Ibaka but I think he will cost more than we can begin to offer.

Although I guess too expensive should be said for every FA. We would have to trade for someone, not sign them in Free agency since we have no room to do that.

JaMychal Green?
Pattrick Patterson
Markeif Morris
Marvin Williams
Meyers Leonard
Nikola Mirotic
James Johnson
Aaron Gordon
Derrick Williams (shot well in this years playoffs in garbage time)

Some of those might be stretching it on the defense part but there is somewhat of a list.

Depending on the final make-up of the 2017 roster, I wouldn't mind seeing Marvin Williams back and starting as our stretch 4. If Utah retains Hayward and Hill, perhaps they use Favors to move up in the draft and get somebody with star potential. After that, maybe we can cobble together a package that gets Marvin from the Hornets.

I also think it's ideal because you can start Marvin and give Bolomboy some serious burn as his backup. Sign me the **** up!

Moe Harkless and Aminu in Porty are both guys I like. Not the best shooters.

It's easier to find a 3 that can play 4 instead of trying to find a 4 that can shoot and play defense.

Draymond gets absolutely wide open spot up threes and shoots 40% in the playoffs. Millsap is the number 1 scoring option on his team and doesn't get many if any wide open spot up threes.

But Millsap cant shoot the 3. Draymond is a 3D but Millsap isn't. You guys kill me sometimes.

Its rare a rookie can come in and play good D. Maybe Mitchell, Isaac, Bell, and Anunoby *could* but that's about it.

Patterson is one of the best rated defenders by a few respected metrics and he can hit open shots. He is my top choice for next year's starting PF if we can't get Love.

Just trade for Love and let the Beverly defense (relative to Mack) carry us. Plus, nobody's grabbing rebounds for transition baskets with Love, Gobert and Beverly on the floor. Then you can have Bolomboy and Ojeleye be the primary backups who play defense and stretch the floor.

Anthony Davis. He will demand a trade soon.

Bolomboy...

Do we really think he is going to get good minutes this coming season? I think Favors is gone and we are probably going to draft a 4 with our 24 pick. I don't think Lyles is going to be ready for minutes yet. Who else are we going to play? Iso Joe can't play all the minutes.
