Anyone not sure about how they feel should do some reading on the Minny board. It will cheer you up.
I was told tonight that a lot of the trade for Rubio is because Hayward was very upset with Hill missing so many games last year and the Jazz wanted to show Hayward that they have a backup plan in case Hill goes down again this next year.
#1 sign Hayward.
#2 sign Hill up to a certain number.
Rubio was 100% to make Hayward happy. Hill is still an option at the right price. Now, Exum, Favors, and Hood could all be traded IF Hayward resigns.
Would you guys re-sign Ingles at 4/55 or Hill at 4/65 now? Go.
Whatever Hayward wants more if we get to that point.
It's Rubio for Hill. Mack was gone either way, but with this trade there's no way the Jazz bring back Hill. That would be far too much money locked up in the PG positionYou think simply adding rubio for, let's say mack, is a not an improvement? Tough crowd.
