NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

Can TJ Warren play small-ball 4? I guess he can't really stretch.... Dunno. I don't like Dudley's contract and they aren't going to deal Bender or Chriss for what we'd offer.

I'd do a straight swap of Burks for Dudley... they want to go young

Al-Farouq Aminu would be cool

when I look at the financial side of this PF discussion, this dude might be emerging as my favorite option. You'd have to think that Portland would want to (a) shed some salary, and (b) make some room for their new bigs. Right?

I think we could trade Diaw for him, straight up.

Him or harkless I don't think they carry both with their salary concerns. Neither guy is a shooter I totally trust though.

If the Nuggets get Millsap to come over, I think they might take Diaw for Arthur straight up to clear salary and the 4 logjam.

I think they'd want a little bit back. I think they are trying to move Crabbe, Leonard, or Turner first but nobody will want those dudes.

They also may move Chandler if they get Gallo back, but I think he's out.

I like Arthur a lot. He's a stretch guy that can do some of the big stuff we like out of favors. Not a playmaker per se, but I think we can run him and JJ at the four and sprinkle in some Bolomboy if we have injuries or other issues.

this will sound like it's a dumb question, but I'm actually looking for specific info:

How is Arthur better than Diaw? No way he replicates his passing, so how does he make up for that and then go beyond ol Boris?

I would be surprised if they trade Harkless or Aminu before the season starts. Maybe they try to dump them at the trade deadline if they cant figure anything else out.

He has shot the ball really well the past two years.

He also offers good rim protection and does well on the perimeter. He's also a decent locker room guy. Watched him a few times last year and was impressed with his play and the way he communicated with the young guys.

I think you are right but it's risky for a few reasons... they gonna pay out the *** to miss the playoffs.

One of those guys gets hurt or starts cold and they are in trouble.
