NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

Lowball him now!!! Why wait til a few months in, when he'll be looking for 20-25 per??? **** it. Roll the ****ing dice.

It depends on what the Jazz think about his health. If he can't stay healthy. . . it's time to move on. If they think his injury issues can be put behind him, then I'd be fine with the Jazz extending him to a reasonable contract. He's only barely turning 26 years old. To put that into perspective. . . Buddy Heild, Denzel Valentine, Derrick White and Frank Mason are all 23. Justin Jackson, Jordan Bell and Semi Ojeleye are all 22.

The Jazz need to avoid extending Hood/Exum/Favors imo. We need that cap space next offseason. Sure, it might cost more to keep Hood or Exum if we end up having to match but it's worth it if we can land a big free agent. We have more options if we wait.

Who are the free agent targets? I dont think any of the RFA names that are being thrown out are remotely attainable. Are there any UFA that are worth going after? Unless you think we can land Paul George I am not sure there are any team changing FAs we can get.

Our two free agents will probably some of the bigger ones people go after.

I wonder what the market is for KCP now. Brooklyn can make him a big offer, I guess. I'd consider signing KCP on a short-term deal. He'd be a good asset and can take some minutes at the 3.

That said, it may be better just to play Mitchell.
