Would you rather have the Jazz beat the Celtics in the NBA finals this year, or have the Jazz beat someone else in the finals and have the Celtics not even make the playoffs. Which would taste sweeter?

Realizing of course that if the Jazz win the finals, all of our petty gripes about the Celtics would be pretty meaningless...

Jazz beat the Celtics. Easy answer. I would LOVE to see the Celtics fail spectacularly and not even make the playoffs. That would be great. But to watch us demolish them and see the looks on the faces of Ainge and Haywood while the Jazz celebrate.... NOTHING would top that.

I want to see Boston crash hard. Earlier this year, IT was talking about taking a pay cut to help the team keep more talent. Since they found out they're getting Haywood, he has come out and said he's getting paid, lol.

I think things might not go so well with Haywood trying to fit in on that team. Especially if he comes in as the teachers pet and the other players feel like their toes are getting stepped. I'm hoping they either max out IT, or they trade him for picks.

I'd like to see Haywood have a similar career path as D-Will.

Easy. Beat the Celtics. If it's us NOT winning it all, then I want the Celtics to suck miserably. But if we win it all, I want to sweep the Celtics.

One of the few scenarios where I'd perhaps be even happier if we closed out a series on the road.

I voted for beat Celtics, but I would probably change my vote if I could. I'd rather beat Lebron.

Huh. Now that you mention it, I think this is inevitable. G-time just made himself into a doppelgänger of Austin Rivers.

I would rather win the title and the celtics suck bad.

Boston reaching the Finals is too much success for my taste. I would much rather Hayward watches from San Diego as Gobert wins Finals MVP and a ring.

If the Celtics don't make the playoffs, they get yet another lottery pick. I'd like to see them struggle, as Hayward and IT fight over who should get the ball. Horford feels left out and demands a trade. Celtics finish with the 5th seed and get eliminated in the 1st round by Philadelphia.

Utah misses the playoffs, ends up with the #1 pick and drafts Hayward's replacement.

Season after, the Jazz, led by Gobert, Mitchell and the #1 pick defeat Philly in 5 games. Boston is the 5th seed again. Under pressure, Ainge fires Stevens. Hayward is put on the trade market. No one wants him and he remains with Boston. Ainge is fired two weeks later.

Who cares about another lottery pick? Hayward will be like 35 if/when rook develops.

It's a no-brainer for me. Jazz win either way, and I'd much rather see the Hayward's Celtics fall apart than see them succeed at that level.

Perhaps Boston could miss the playoffs and lose their pick for tampering, like Ainge's buddy McHale before him (for Joe Smith, for those interested in the continuing Mormon theme).

Hayward gets blocked by Gobert, lands awkwardly and tears his ACL. With Hayward out, Celtics win 35 games. Stevens gets fired. Justice is served, Karma is fulfilled, Voodoo doll does its work.

While on his cell phone firing Stevens, Ainge steps out into the street and gets hit by a cabbie speeding through a yellow light. Winds up in a full body cast for a year.

I want them to max IT. Can you imagine paying 45M to 34 year old midget with bad hip?
