You're comparing KOC's ~13-14 year stint with us to Lindsey's 4 (he's really only been in charge for 3). There were plenty of things that KOC did that were good moves that I think he didn't get appreciated for. Boozer and Memo was a good summer. I think the most under appreciated move was trading for Fisher, despite how it ended. Giricek for Korver was great despite Sloan's inability to maximize that. Despite this, I wasn't much a fan of his management style and there were plenty of blunders. The combination of him and Greg was awful and came to a head with Jerry quitting. I'm absolutely baffled how anyone could not see how much better off we currently are with DL at the helm. Props to KOC for bringing him in -- another solid move.
Tl;dr you're comparing KOCs >decade run with Lindsey's three years and your references are "no franchise changing lottery picks" (I suppose you conveniently can't count Gobert since he wasn't lottery -- then dismiss Hood), and no big trades.
It may be interesting to pull some of your old quotes about KOC because, just like the Hayward 25 ppg thing, I'm assuming your memory on your KOC opinions is a little fuzzy.
