It's been obvious for over a week that Puerto Rico would turn into a humanitarian crisis. This isn't the U.S. Virgin Islands with 100,000 population, this is an island of 3.5 million people over 1000 miles of water away from Miami. Their crops are ruined, they have no electrity to keep perishable goods, their water resources are devastated, only 5% of the island has electricity one week after the storm. The flooding is catastrophic, the roads are impassable and even if they were people can't get fuel. The temperature right now is 91 degrees with 70% humidity. The old and the sick are already dying. This is Trump's Katrina and the ***-tard is more interested in pitting Americans against each other, than working to save potentially thousands of lives and preventing total chaos among 3.5 million AMERICANS.
I lived in Puerto Rico for two years as a kid and most recently visited there in 2015. I think of all the good people there and it just sickens me to think of what they are going through and have to look forward to.
