What's new

Go get Bledsoe?

Bledsoe is a 6'1 point guard who has shown no ability to play as a shooting guard. There is no way you'd start him over Rubio, and I don't think he want to come off the bench. Also, at this point for any possible new acquisition, you have to ask how they are on defense.

I like Bledsoe. Fit here isn't good, though, since, as mentioned, I doubt Bledsoe would accept willingly a bench role.

Salaries would have to be taken into account for the Jazz, as well.

lol you still think exum is going to develop into a star?

Can't recall ever having touted that he's going to develop into a star. However I'm going to go with Quin Snyder's recent assessment, that he thinks Exum can become "one heck of a player". I think Quin might have somewhat of a better idea that you eh sonny ??

Now take your BS and go play with the other children.

I think Bledsoe would be a great fit here. He might not be willing to accept a bench role as a free agent, but when you demand a trade (which he is basically doing) - you have to accept that you could wind up any where. He's already taking the risk of ending up on the Sixer/Magic or wherever - something tells me ending up on a winning/playoff team like the Jazz would be a more than okay scenario for him.

He would definitely give us a spark off the bench, and be more or less our Jamal Crawford. He's had 41 points, 40 point games before, so he definitely can put the ball in the basket.

He's making 15 million this year and next - so we'd get him for 2 years, and he'd be GREAT insurance just incase Rubio does miss any stretches. Because right now if Rubio goes down, the Jazz are in big trouble.

Right now, I just wouldn't be sure how to make the salaries work - and if I want someone taking minutes away from Donovan Mitchell.

whats quin supposed to say about his player? lmao

what quin says in public is going to be different than what he talks about in public. So sonny you can just boot scoot and boogie your *** right back to pre school.

Exum for Bledsoe doesn't work salary wise, so no need to waste time debating something that can't happen.

It would have to be Exum and Burks to make the numbers work. Personally, I think the FO still believes in Exum's development, and would rather try to sign him cheaply long term, rather than trade away depth.

As I'm reading, it looks like Burks for Bledsoe would work straight up as it's within 5 million of each other and it wouldn't put Jazz over the tax.

Problem is Phoenix likes Booker and probably wouldn't think Burks is a fair trade.

Watson just got canned after 3 games.

That seems really ****ed up. I was sure they had finally embraced the tank, like they should have done years ago. Instead, they seem delusional about their chances to win. Either that, or they just needed to throw Earl under the bus to appease the fans. Now they will just have to pay somebody else to coach a losing team.
