I voted other but if I had to choose between the three before that I would want Knight at 6 and Burks at 12. But my plan is a little different...

Draft Brandon Knight at 6.

Trade the 12th pick to Los Angeles Lakers for their 4 2nd round picks (41, 46, 56, and 58).

Trade the 56th and 58th pick for a pick earlier in the 2nd round.

For that pick we get, draft Davis Bertans.

Draft Jimmy Butler at 41.

Draft Robin Benzing at 46.

Bertrans is intriguing, would love the Jazz to get his rights its just a tough move to risk being a GM to trade down.

I would lead the mob to KOC's house if he traded a 12th pick for 4 second rounders, which ends up being three second rounders.

This.

Not that I wouldn't put it past KOC, but, damn.

why everyone like biyombo so much? he isnt that good, and fredette can be at best a good bench player. Brandon knight can actually run a good team. I woulnt prefer Burks since we have hayward, but if kirilenko will be out for next year, i would like knight and leonard, that would be the best couple in our current situation (considering we wont win the lottery)

I think the hope is he'll be another Ben Wallace type player. That is appealing in a league where you need good defensive size to win. Plus he's apparently super aggressive and balls out, and I like players like that though if he's not skilled it will just get him in foul trouble.

But I'm trying to look at the positives for all the prospects. I'm no good at determining which prospect is going to be effective at the next level. I thought Kirk Snyder would be great, and thought Brewer was the Jazz's lockdown parameter defender of the future. Shows what I know.

yes time will show whats gonna happen, but biyombo became like a lottery player just with one game, in nike hoops, i didnt see him in any other game, maybe he will be a good backup but i dont see a star potential in him, we will see

I think part of the reason his stock has seemed to skyrocket is the perceived weakness of this draft. I really doubt he'd be talked about as a top 5 pick next year, and he certainly wouldn't have last year.

There may not be any superstar type talent in this years draft, but I really think that this draft is potent with starting Role players, and guys that will be the 6th, 7th and 8th player in a teams rotation.

I agree with that, Maybe not Allstars but really great Starting Role Players.

I'll defend this a little. The 12th pick this year is who? Fredette? Or some amazing player that falls to 12? There's so little certainty this year - so many question marks - I think this could be a smart move. Rather than hope 12 turns into something good the Jazz would triple their odds. Of course, it's a risk and all three prospects might become junk. But so could 12.

It's not a dumb idea. Although it would take balls. Which KOC has.
