Does anyone remember the woman who was an astronaut who drank a bunch of energy drinks and wore an astronaut diaper so she didn’t have to stop when she drove coast-to-coast to try to kill somebody? Maybe the self-banning was a cover.

I totally remember that lol.

Her name was Lisa Nowak and she was arrested in Orlando in 2007. She was driving from Houston to Orlando and wore a diaper so she wouldn't have to stop. She was going to Orlando to kidnap an Airforce Captain that was romantically involved with another astronaut that Nowack was seeing or wanted to be with.

Among the things in her possession when she was busted was pepper spray, latex gloves a 2lb drilling hammer, hundreds in cash and garbage bags. She was going to kill that woman. Almost had her to. Chased her into a car at an airport. The Captain got pepper sprayed but was able to drive out of the parking garage and notify police.

I'd put Mitchell up there with Kuzma, Fox and DS Jr. for sure. The only real knocks on him were bad %s, gambling on D and pushing to hard at the rim. There have already been improvement in all 3 of those areas. Mitchell should deservedly be in the ROY conversation.
