If trump really is concerned with the education level of people and their ability to contribute economically, why doesn’t he pass a stimulus package to retrain his poor and uneducated base?

I guess it’s always easier to berate the Brown people for their lack of education than to look in the mirror.

But what about the whites who so naively believed that trump would wave a magic wand and bring back the coal and factory jobs found in the 1950s?

It’s just so obvious he’s a racist. And it’s so deplorable for anyone to defend this piece of ****.

Oh, speaking of education, what school did Melania graduate from? How has she contributed to the American economy? Trumpers? Speak!

If increasing standards of living, encouraging political stability, and eliminating inequality are concerns for trump and his ilk, why are they pursuing domestic policies which exacerbate them?

BTW, I have yet to see any empirical data showing that immigrants are not a net positive for America.

  • Immigrants are far less likely to be incarcerated.
  • Immigrants take jobs that Americans won't work.
  • Immigrants contribute to the American economy. Without them employers would be hurt and GDP would be lost.
  • Immigrant families by the 3rd generation are typically fully assimilated into American culture.

If we want to look at *********, look no further than the southern red states that voted overwhelmingly for Dump!

  • The Bible Belt consistently leads the nation in welfare recipients (the greatest recipient are whites).
  • The Bible Belt consistently leads the nation in teen pregnancy, STDs, and abortion rates (how's that abstinence only thingie workin out for ya?).
  • The Bible Belt consistently leads the nation in gun violence.

The inconvenient truth is that the Bible Belt is full of states that have inadequately funded infrastructure and education systems. They are populated by racist and lazy people, who clearly don't value education or science. They love to blame immigrants and liberals but are suffering from massive poverty because they have not prepared to live in a 21st century economy.

Sorry, want to build a wall around unproductive parasites? Good, lets build walls around states like Alabama! That's an $18 billion dollar wall I'd love to fund. I have zero interest in ever associating with deplorables from such a ********. I'm tired of my hard earned "liberal" money going to subsidize lazy and poor states that refuse to pick themselves up by their own bootstraps.

And the empirical data shows that. Alabama consistently leads the nation for terrible education, health care, teen pregnancy and abortion, gun violence, and standard of living. Facts can be pesky things to Trump and his basket of deplorables.

Do you have any idea of the history behind why Haiti in particular has such a low standard of living compared to countries like Norway and the US?

The wealth of France in the 18th century was largely created in what would become Haiti with the unpaid labor of Africans stolen from their homelands, just lile America!

When they revolted and created their own nation they were retaliated against and America and European countries would not recognize or trade with Haiti until they paid France back for their own freedom to the tune of 150 million gold franks. This took them nearly a century to do and required them to take out loans from banks in the US.

Later in the early 1900s those same banks convinced Woodrow Wilson to send American troops to empty out the Haitian gold reserves which was followed up with decades long occupation by the US. Then came a century of systemic oppression by puppet regimes and dictators. I could go on.

Shhhh! Deplorables don't believe in history.

Just to add, another reason why America refused to recognize Haiti is because they were created by a slave revolt. At the time Haiti became independent, slavery was still legal in the US. Recognizing a country born from a slave revolt would have undoubtedly raised the calls for abolitionism earlier. Of course, listen to any Trump Deplorable and they'll tell you how slavery was actually a good thing for blacks... Derp derp.

Not to mention that for most of the 2nd half of the 20th century, America supported ruthless right wing dictators in Haiti who were against Communism. America didn't want Haiti to become another Cuba so they supported some pretty awful characters who used American aid money to enrich themselves and persecute their own citizens. Decades of persecution and lack of public investment has led to a pretty awful situation for Haitians living in the post Cold War era.

But yeah, don't expect those educated by Fox n Friends and AM radio to know a ****ing thing about Haiti.

how long can they use that excuse. after a while you would clean up your act right.

after all singapoure was in the same situation as hiati! so was the usa and canada. yet they are better off! after a few decades you should stop using that excuse. or atleeast after a century! thye have had enough time to clean up their act
 
Nigerian Americans have college degrees well over the average rate for Americans. Their median income is also above average median income of Americans. Not bad for a country on his list of deplorables.
 
Trump is correlating a place being a ******** with it's citizens being less desirable. These countries may be *********, but that doesn't mean the people who want to leave a ******** aren't worthwhile. Obviously, a smart person who finds their self born in a corrupt, impoverished ******** will likely want to leave to a place that provides them with the opportunity to succeed. But that's clearly not how Trump sees it.

you might think that but i have seen how people break laws or find loopholes to go to other countries. trust me i have seen ********* you cant imagine.

there is this loophole in south America if you go to french Guyana you cna have an anchor baby. which then gives you acces to the eu free movement, like for example free education to those kids. etc. and no only smart people use that loophole as a matter of fact. people who dont respect laws ussually do

I have lived in one of the countries he was referring to. Honduras. And I will put of the overall humility, something America could use a little more of, work ethic and genuineness of the Hondurans up against Americans any day.

Repubs are too stupid to consider this question, but why do you think the Russians helped repubs to win this past election? Could it be because they know that the gop is incapable of good governance?

3 more years of this and we won’t have any allies and we won’t ever have to worry about leading the world again. China and Russia will be more than happy to fill the void.

suppose your town or country was ruled by a dictator who bought up all the cleaning supplies and everything else and you had to pay him a large sum of money as a bribe just to get a broom and a mop and a bottle of ammonia to clean your house - and suppose anytime you tried to do anything to improve your situation you faced imprisonment by the authorities for violating some newly authorized regulation...

that's all your responsibility, right?
