What's new

Hood traded to Cleveland for Crowder; Johnson to Sacramento

Also, we traded:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but december offers a good simple size of who Rodney Hood is:
15 games. He missed the first 5 and played the last 10. Of the ones he played:
In 5 he shot 42-85 49%
In 5 he shot 19-65 29% (5-29 17% from 2)
2 free throws, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 turnover per game.

So, of all games available, Hood basically misses 33%, is hot in 33%, and is cold in 33%.
I wouldn't pay Hood as much as he expects to get, that's for sure.

Of all of the players on the Jazz, Hood was the only one who had the potential to resent Mitchell's rising fame. I sometimes felt that Hood pressed too much on offense in trying to outshine DM. My memory isn't trustworthy, but I can't think of a single game where both Hood and DM shined.
@ Miami

And then Hood went and decided he wanted to be the hero that game and bricked on a dumb shot.

While I like what Crowder provides on defence on offence he is nowhere near Hood. Kind of disappointed but understand why Jazz did it. Wish Rodney all the best.
