What's new

Utah Jazz @ Portland Trail Blazers -- Sunday, Feb 11 7pm MST

To anyone concerned about Donovan’s efficiency. This kid is a 21 year old rookie, the most versatile guy on the court, is defended and double teamed very tough every night, and the face of our franchise in his first year in the NBA. It’s nothing to be concerned about. He posted 27 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal....again there’s not one thing to be concerned about with this kid. He will get even better, more consistent, and dominant.

Let me summarize anyone concerned about Donovan Mitchell...

"Yeah, I mean he's pretty much the rookie of the year, yeah, granted, but it'd be nice if he shot less."

going to have to disagree. here. KEEP SHOOTING,

mitchell shoots GOOD shots. He does it mostly within the offense.

It's just becoming evident that he's not ready to be the MAIN ball handler on offense. He's going to improve that aspect, but the people shouting start mitch at PG, hes not ready yet.

I don't think you understood my post.

I was making fun of people who are concerned about Donovan Mitchell.

It's like they are saying that while he is probably the rookie of the year they just think he shoots too much.

I was mocking that idea.

Yeah, it's complicated...

Right? I would like us to make the playoffs at this point, but DM should be shooting and put in positions to grow this season even if they don’t always work out. DM growing and gaining confidence and getting used to Rudy and working the offense is the most beneficial and important thing to this franchise. Let the kid shoot, make mistakes, learn, grow, and take this franchise over, it’s what’s best for the coming years.

Got back from the game a little bit ago. Oh how I wish Mitchell would have finished that dunk. He commands a lot of attention. Ingles was the MVP tonight. His 3's in the 3rd started the Jazz run. Crowder going to fit in very nicely. Love Favors. Really hope he is resigned. Him and Gobert can play together. Refs did what they could to make the game interesting. There were at least 7-8 phantom calls against the Jazz, mostly in favor of Lillard. That foul at the end of the first, then at the end of the 3rd were horrible. Will be nice for Mitchell to get that kind of treatment in the future. I'm still glad he doesn't jump into the other player to make the contact. Rudy had a right to be pissed when he got called for the technical. CJ threw his forearm into his neck. I booed out loud after the technical. Did anyone hear me?

That was the most poorly officiated game I have seen in a long time.
It was bad and yet somehow the Jazz ended up controlling it.

....did anyone else watch the game tonight and just dream a little bit about what a Damian Lillard Donovan Mitchell backcourt could look like with the rest of this roster.....why can’t it be reality instead.
