I can understand a bit about being critical of the dunk contest but just think its kind of a bad look for memo to be SO negative about it after a jazz sensation wins it. Did he tweet anything positive about it at all. Like did he say "that was the worst dunk contest ever.... But im really happy to see donovan win it and rep the jazz well" or something?

Seems that some people are butthurt that some people arent thrilled about memo's comment about the dunk contest. I find that lol worthy as well.

Most everything on jazzfanz is lol worth when you look closely. We are grown men and women that are obsessed with something that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things after all.

I'd rather a person be 100% transparent and tell things how they see them and feel than be fake and try and please others.

He doesnt work for the Jazz. He is entitled to his opinion. He doesnt have to rid the Jazz's dick for the rest of his life.
 
Slam Dunk contest is like sex for some people. You hit that sweet spot numerous times and keep searching for that quality from each event. This one was nice, but the important part for me is that I know that Mitchell played it safe and has a lot more in his bag of tricks and potential is higher than what he showed. Him winning it is another thing of beauty because Association and press acknowledging a Jazz product is rare and good news.
