Somebody had to make it. We need a third star.

This situation is getting really weird. It definitely looks like from the outside that he doesn't want to be there.

Hopefully he'll take the same path as the last Spurs great...

MAY THE POWER OF BORIS BRING KAWHI TO UTAH!

(Mitchell + Gobert) + (Kawhi + Mirotic) = perennial first seed.

We don't have the assets to trade for him. Unless we trade Mitchell or Gobert. But I would love him here if we could pair him up with Mitchell and Gobert. That would be easy to build around.

If the stars aligned and we were some how lucky enough to get Kawhi without losing Mitchell or Gobert, Mirotic would be a bad move in my opinion. Not enough offensive possessions to go around if you have Mitchell & Kawhi as your main options with Ingles and Gobert also needing touches. However, a lineup of Rubio, Mitchell, Kawhi, Crowder & Gobert is a championship level starting 5 that would terrify teams on both end.

A boy can dream..

I think it would be a pretty perfect balance. Crowder would work, too. But GSW makes it work with three guys who’d demand more than Mitchell, Kawhi, and Mirotic.

Kawhi has a weird mystery injury. I dont know if we want him anymore.
When stock is high: man, we’d love to have him! No way we get him.
When stock is low: we could get him, but I’m not sure we should want him.

He has trademyass-itis. I think part of him wants out, but that he is partly worried about the injury as well. Maybe he is posturing for the megamax extension or protecting himself... there is clearly something weird going on there.

He has been medically cleared and has been in NY for 10 days seeking a second opinion.

This is the George Hill toe injury times 1000. Team wants him to play he is protecting himself.

I believe he is eligible for the megamax extension this offseason.

I think we would be outbid for Kwahi's services... Boston, Philly, Cleveland, Lakers could put together pretty good trade packages that would trump what we'd send.

Yeah, but he plays and there’s no way you get him.

i have a feeling he's going to be going to LA where his agent(uncle) really wants him at.

How has no one mentioned he's a 2019 free agent? We can't put together a superior trade package, but of teams with cap space, I like our chances and I wouldn't compromise it for the likes of Dante Exum or Derrick Favors.

Yep we will have a potential superstar on a rookie deal, A DPOY candidate on a sophomore deal, one of the league's best shooters on a fair deal, and a solid 3&D guy on a steal of a deal. 2019 is Utah's year to finally catch a big fish in FA
