Dante Exum coming back this week

He sounded like he knew for a fact that it was happening to me
Yeah. But if he does know it was a slip that he probably wasn't supposed to share.

I did find this article:

https://thejnotes.com/2018/03/14/ut...-add-excitement-intrigue-seasons-stretch-run/

"It appears that the second of those aforementioned “If only’s” is about to be resolved here soon as well. That’s right, Dante Exum is targeting a return to action this week. He will be practicing for a second time with the Salt Lake City Stars today as the final part of his rehab process. With games on Thursday and Saturday, Exum could make his 2017-18 debut in either contest."

I'm hoping he only gets around 8 minutes for the first couple games. I don't want to mess up our chemistry much if at all or risk his health either. Then maybe somewhere around 11-12 minutes for the next couple games after that. Work him in slowly.

We're playing the worst of the worst over the next 4 games. Good opportunity to get him back in game shape.

Let’s Gooooooooo! Excited for Dante.

Phoenix has hung in there with us but hopefully we can open this one up and get Dante some court time.

Tj stay the hell away from Exum or Ingles will cut yo ***.

Dante's playing style is conducive to him at least not hurting the team even if he isn't contributing that much. Considering his upcoming contract let's hope he plays decent but not too well.

Maybe you’re right. Maybe he sees five or six minutes in the first half and then comes in in the 2nd but stays out there longer if we are blowing a team out. Maybe he sees 15-18.

I am more concerned about it hurting us that excited to get him back. I can imagine that he is trying to get back so he is in play as a free agent. Wouldn't bother me if the sat out the whole year.

yeah cause having really good players to pay is the worst problem in the NBA

My point is that the long-term gain could outweigh the short-term gain. I believe in Dante and I would rather have him at a bargain. It would suck to lose him because he plays super well and we decide not to match an offer.

Way too much hand-wringing over this. For those worried about Dante potentially messing with Utah’s chemistry: Do you honestly believe that Quin is going to try and shoehorn a player into unnecessary minutes after he’s missed 90% of the season due to a pretty significant injury?

And for those worried that Dante is somehow going to explode over the course of 14 games (plus a playoff series or 2) and change the trajectory on whether or not Utah can resign him in the offseason: That’s just flat out silly.

Stop worrying for hell’s sake and rejoice! We’ve won 19 of 21 games, we’re getting a firmer grip on a playoff birth by the day, and we’ve finally got Dante coming back. There’s no downside to this. Literally, zero.

To say nothing of the fact that we've been a top 5 team in the league over the last 20 games. If Dante does explode, the Jazz would logically then be a contender.

highly unlikely mate, i reckon even if he's playing well he's not going to get enough time to really be eye popping for other teams. I think it's most likely he has some nice moments mixed with looking pretty rusty.
